Imagine driving an electric vehicle with zero range anxiety, knowing you can quickly swap your battery at any of our automated stations.

-
Our rapid EV battery exchange system uses LiFePO4 (Lithium Iron Phosphate) batteries, which are renowned for their safety and longevity. Safety is paramount; LiFePO4 batteries are more stable and less prone to overheating compared to lithium-ion batteries.

-
Our automated exchange process ensures precision and minimizes human error, further enhancing safety.

-
Additionally, these batteries have a longer cycle life, which translates to fewer replacements and lower long-term costs. With our system, drivers and fleet operators can enjoy significant cost savings. LiFePO4 batteries reduce the need for expensive onboard charging systems and decrease maintenance expenses over time.

-
This efficient and reliable solution not only makes EV ownership more affordable but also accelerates the transition to sustainable transportation.Join us in driving towards a safer, cost-effective, and environmentally friendly future with our advanced battery exchange system.
Jasper EV Tech Inc, holds patents in the US, EU, and Mexico, with further patent endorsements from Germany, Austria, Switzerland/ Lichtenstein, France and Italy on a Rapid Battery Exchange System for Electric Vehicles that replaces or augments public EV battery charging systems. The unique idea behind the technology is that an exchangeable battery is mounted in a rack in place of a fixed battery and that the exchange process does not require the prior removal of the depleted battery. Nor is it necessary for the vehicle driver to exit the vehicle.

The Jasper EV Tech Rapid Battery Exchange System
-
The system is based on a battery exchange module that can be installed in place of the fixed battery in any “skateboard” Electric Vehicle.
-
The exchange module allows the Electric Vehicle to exchange a standardized battery in about a minute. The standardized battery is designed to allow a vehicle approximately 125 miles of driving range - more than four times the average UK commute and ten times the average French commute.
-
The standardized battery is not an integral part of the Electric Vehicleas manufactured and is not owned by the vehicle owner, who does not pay for it as part of his new vehicle. Rather, it is part of a battery pool. This means the vehicle owner is not responsible for the maintenance of the battery when its cells age.
-
Because the design goal of the standardized battery is not to maximize driving range the battery can be smaller and made of alternative battery cells which are less detrimental to the global environment. The batteries are less than half the weight of a standard fixed battery.
-
The standardized batteries are housed in a recharging station resembling a standard 40-foot container. The exchanging mechanism is attached to the container. The recharging stations can be fixed or mobile. Each container houses at least 150 exchangeable batteries. These batteries are designed to fully recharge in about 2 ½ - 3 hours. The gradual recharging time does not degrade the batteries in the same way a high-speed recharging does.
-
The one-minute exchange time, coupled with the 2 ½ - 3-hour recharging time, means that an exchange station will never run out of fully recharged batteries and can service at least 1000 vehicles per day.
-
In times of emergency, additional mobile recharging stations can service vehicles exiting an affected area.
-
Additionally, the exchange station can return electricity to the grid during non-commuting peak hours, and still fully recharge its batteries in the early morning or off-peak hours. The exchange station can also utilize electrical input from Solar or VAWT sources.
